Bans Vending Machines
- Bridgeport, Connecticut passed an ordinance banning cigarette
vending machines in the city and banning logos and cartoons in
cigarette advertising.
The ordinance, proposed by Bridgeport
Mayor Joseph Ganim, will take effect in 30 days.
Vending
machine owners say they will challenge the ordinance in court.
