Vermont Task Force Recommends Funding Tobacco Control Programs
The Vermont Tobacco Task Force, made up of lawmakers and
anti-tobacco advocates, recommends that the state spend
two-thirds of the state's tobacco settlement money on
anti-tobacco programs and the remaining third for other
"tobacco-related" health programs.
Vermont expects to get $26
million a year from the tobacco settlement.
